ISTARKA Fe prevents or corrects iron deficiency, by foliar application. Iron is a micronutrient that is essential for the formation of chlorophyll and for oxygen transport in the plant. Iron deficiency affects plant growth by provoking chlorosis, which prevents or hinders photosynthesis and causes crop yield losses.
The iron content of ISTARKA Fe is complexed by lignosulphonates, natural molecules derived from lignin, containing sugars that facilitate the product’s penetration into the plant without causing phytotoxicity.
Micronutrients that are complexed by lignosulphonates are highly stable against photodegradation, and so ISTARKA Fe can be applied by foliar application while maintaining full effectiveness.
