Cookie policy
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are text-based information units that a website transfers to the user’s computer/smartphone/tablet in order to allow the website to remember certain information and thus facilitate use of the website. In accordance with Act 34/2002 on information society services, cookies are considered to be any type of file or device that is downloaded to the user’s terminal in order to store data that may be updated and retrieved by the entity responsible for its installation. In this section, we provide more information about cookies and how to block or remove them.
Depending on their duration, cookies may be one of the following types:
2. Types and purposes
As web publishers, the cookies we use are basically technical, together with persistent ones obtained from third parties, both to conduct our own analysis and to compile anonymous statistical data. Specifically, cookies from Google Analytics are used to collect anonymous statistics on visits to our website and on the use made of it, such as the length, origin and destination of the visit, the duration of browsing sessions and similar statistical data.
More information in this respect can be obtained from the Google Privacy Center and in the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
The computer can be configured to alert you whenever you are sent a cookie or you may choose to disable all cookies, by means of your browser settings. Each browser is different, and so you will probably need to take a look at your Help menu.
Our own cookies are technical ones (cookie-agreed) which verify whether the user has accepted our policy on cookies and those belonging to third-parties (Twitter) to share social content by members connected to a social network, such as in tweet sessions. Please note, too, that the use of these cookies is exempt from the requirement to obtain the user’s consent, according to the Spanish Data Protection Agency and Opinion 4/2012 of the Article 29 Working Party of the European Union.
2. Deactivating and deleting cookies
All modern browsers allow the user to change the settings of cookies. These settings are normally found in the “Options” or “Preferences” menu of your browser. You can also configure your browser or email manager, and install free add-ons to prevent web bugs from being downloaded when you open an email.
At any time, you may choose which cookies you wish to be enabled on this website, by configuring the browser appropriately; for example:
If you do not want Google Analytics to collect and use information, you can install an opt-out system in your web browser, at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-GB

You may withdraw your initial consent at any time. If you delete or block cookies, some services that require them may then not be available to you.
